To get ready for your English exam tomorrow I recommend the following:
v Study your vocabulary terms. Each of the reading selections on the test are focused around our vocabulary for the ECART this term:
Ø 10th grade terms deal with culture, and
Ø 11th grade terms deal with health and wellness.
v Practice doing similar activities that will be on the exam:
Ø Read articles on The National website that deal with your ECART theme
Ø Write simple and compound/complex sentences.
§ REMEMBER TO START WITH A CAPITAL LETTER AND END WITH A PERIOD.
§ REMEMBER TO HAVE YOUR SUBJECT AGREE WITH YOUR VERB.
To help review I have created a practice exam.
v The reading selections on the practice exam are about the same length as the real exam’s reading selections will be.
v The questions are the same type of question, but there are fewer questions than on the real final exam.
