I.  10th Grade: Unit 4:  Can We Talk?  or How to ask the right questions.
  1. Selecting your BEST journal entry:  Use the Writing Rubric in your journals to select your best entry for this week.  Once you have decided which entry is best, you should make any corrections you think are necessary then put *** in the margin area.  Finally, put your journal in the 10D pile by my desk.
  2. Do the woksheets on possessive pronouns.
II.  11th Grade:  Unit 2: Real-Life Heros and Unit 3:  Natural Disasters
  1. Journaling:  Watch the video about Hurrican Sandy.  Imagine you were there and write an eyewitness report (first person - I) about the video.

Once you have decided which entry is best, you should make any corrections you think are necessary then put *** in the margin area. Finally, put your journal in the 11S and 11L respectively pile by my desk. 
  3. Now read I Survived a Tornado! on page 42 of your text. From who's point of view is this written? Discuss page 43 with your partner and be ready to share your discussion with the class.
  4. Take the quiz for Term3 Week 3 vocabulary.
