II. II. 11th Grade: Unit 2: Real-Life Heroes
  1. Journaling: based on your answers from yesterday's journaling (the 5 questions) wrtie a paragraph about the incident you selected.
  2. Turn to page 33 in your text books. How do your interview answers from yesterday and your paragraph from today compare to these two (the interview of Karla and the paragraph about the incident in which she was involved) selections?   See page 35 of your text for a rubric to evaluate your interview. Discuss this with your partner.
  3. Read Ibn Majid - The Lion of the Sea on page 37 of your text.  What does this historical biography tell you about Ibn Majid?  What qualities does he have?  Do you know someone with these qualities?  Write your own biograhy of someone you know (page 24 in workbook).  Due Sunday, 05-05-13
